How the world trades truth for power in the shadow of Revelation 13
“And the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
— Revelation 13:2
We’re told the Antichrist will rise with global power.
But power doesn’t appear out of thin air.
It’s handed over.
Transferred.
Delegated by the dragon himself.
That’s not metaphor.
That’s Revelation.
A Throne with Teeth
Revelation 13 gives us a chilling glimpse:
A beast rises from the sea.
It resembles empires before it—Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome.
But this one is different.
This one is animated by the dragon—Satan.
He gives the beast:
His power
His seat
And great authority
This isn’t symbolic politics.
This is supernatural dominion.
It mirrors what Satan offered Jesus in the wilderness:
“All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”
— Matthew 4:9
But Jesus refused.
The Antichrist won’t.
Worship Engineered
The world isn’t just ruled in Revelation 13.
It’s deceived.
And deception requires infrastructure:
Global communication
Surveillance
Artificial signs and wonders
Economic control
“And he causeth all… to receive a mark… that no man might buy or sell…”
— Revelation 13:16–17
It’s not just about allegiance.
It’s about access.
Access to food. Access to trade. Access to life itself.
And it’s enforced not just by threat—but by worship.
A false prophet arises.
And he builds an image.
Not a statue.
An image that speaks.
The Tech Behind the Throne
In John’s day, a “speaking image” was unthinkable.
Today?
It sounds like a digital avatar, AI entity, or augmented deity.
An artificial god—inhabited by a demonic spirit.
Revelation says:
“He had power to give life unto the image of the beast… and cause that as many as would not worship… should be killed.”
— Revelation 13:15
It doesn’t matter how advanced the technology is.
It’s the spirit behind it that matters.
The beast is a man.
But his system is spiritual.
It imitates Christ’s Kingdom.
It counterfeits resurrection (Rev 13:3).
It even has a false trinity—dragon, beast, and prophet.
The Crown That Was Offered
Jesus was offered all kingdoms—without the cross.
He declined.
But Satan has found one who will accept.
The beast takes the crown.
Not by conquest.
But by consent.
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast.”
— Revelation 13:4
They want him.
They admire him.
They say, “Who is like unto the beast?”
The Hour Is Near
The structures are being built.
The systems are being tested.
And the people are being primed to follow a leader who speaks like a lamb but roars like a dragon.
But take heart:
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them…”
— Revelation 17:14
This story ends in victory.
Not for the beast.
Not for the dragon.
But for the true King—the One who wore thorns before He wears a crown.
He didn’t trade truth for power.
He is the truth.
And He’s coming to take His rightful seat.
Excellent! Thank you
Beautiful! Amen 🙏🏻
