“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place… then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.”
— Matthew 24:15–16
Jesus didn’t say, “If it happens.”
He said, “When.”
There will be a day — not symbolic, not metaphorical — when a man will enter the Temple of God, declare himself divine, and demand worship.
The Bible calls it “the abomination of desolation.”
It’s not just the midpoint of the Tribulation.
It’s the moment the mask drops.
And the Beast is revealed.
⸻
What Is the Abomination of Desolation?
The phrase comes from Daniel 9:27, where it says:
“…in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate…”
Here’s what that means:
The week = 7 years (Tribulation)
The midst = 3.5 years in
The he = the Antichrist
The abomination = a blasphemous act in the Temple
The result? Desolation — spiritual, physical, global
This moment is so critical that Jesus warns His followers directly:
When you see it happen — don’t hesitate. Flee.
⸻
What Will Actually Happen?
The Bible gives us a composite picture:
The Antichrist will enter the Third Temple
He will stop daily sacrifices
He will set up an image of himself
He will proclaim himself to be God
The false prophet will give life to that image (Revelation 13:15)
And those who refuse to worship it will be targeted for death
This is not just arrogance.
It’s cosmic treason.
“Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God… so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
— 2 Thessalonians 2:4
It is the ultimate counterfeit of the Incarnation —
The devil’s attempt to sit where only Christ belongs.
⸻
Where Will This Happen?
In Jerusalem.
On the Temple Mount.
In the Third Temple — which hasn’t been built yet, but is already being prepared:
The altar has been dedicated
The red heifers are ready
The priesthood has been trained
The vessels are reconstructed
And political voices are beginning to call for “shared access”
The groundwork for this event isn’t decades away.
It’s already in motion.
All that’s needed…
is the right crisis.
And the right man.
⸻
What Does It Mean for Us Now?
Jesus said the abomination would be the sign to flee.
Not to organize.
Not to resist.
But to run.
Because this moment unleashes the Great Tribulation — the second half of the seven years.
It’s when judgment intensifies.
When martyrdom rises.
When deception reaches its peak.
If you’re in Christ, you won’t be here to witness it.
But if you are watching prophecy unfold,
this is the moment to stay sharp — and speak clearly.
Because the world is being softened.
Prepared.
Conditioned.
And when the abomination appears, many will call it peace.
Many will say it’s the fulfillment of prophecy.
Many will say: “This is our savior.”
But the elect will know.
And they’ll remember what Jesus said:
“Let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains…”
⸻
Why This Warning Matters
The spirit of Antichrist is already active.
The world is already being trained to worship the Beast:
Through digital ID and surveillance
Through religious pluralism and false unity
Through global covenants and temple access negotiations
When he stands in the holy place, it will be the climax of a lie that’s been building since Eden:
“Ye shall be as gods.”
And the world will cheer.
But judgment will follow.
After my first read through, I began to wonder if this set-up of what some have labeled: The Un-holy Trinity could have some effect that possibly we haven’t considered being mortals. I mean, is it just the act of treason ? Declaring yourself to be God & to be worshipped? Many things are recorded in scripture that seem almost as equally rebellious; however, your writing has caused me to want to re-research & consider this pivotal point as if a switch that sets everything in motion. May we always be confidently convinced of who we serve- & why, even unto our end.
