“I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”
— Revelation 2:9
This verse didn’t come from a conspiracy site.
It came from Jesus Christ Himself.
Twice in Revelation — to two different churches — He warns of a group that claims to be Jewish…
but serves another master.
He doesn’t call them misguided.
He doesn’t call them religious.
He calls them the synagogue of Satan.
It’s not about ethnicity.
It’s about spiritual allegiance.
And that distinction still matters today.
⸻
What Does Jesus Mean?
Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 both describe false Jews — those who claim covenant identity but are actually aligned with darkness.
“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie…” (Revelation 3:9)
Jesus isn’t speaking against all Jews.
He was born one (Matthew 1).
His disciples were Jewish.
The early church was Jewish.
He’s targeting a specific group:
They claim Jewish heritage
They lie about who they are
They are used by Satan to oppose the truth
This isn’t antisemitism.
It’s spiritual discernment.
Not all who say they belong to Israel belong to God.
“For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel…”
— Romans 9:6
⸻
Who Were These People — and Do They Still Exist?
In Jesus’ day, it was the religious elite:
The Pharisees who elevated tradition over truth
The Sadducees who denied resurrection and spiritual power
The Sanhedrin who conspired to kill the Messiah
And those who used the name of God to serve the agenda of Satan
Jesus said it plainly:
“Ye are of your father the devil…” (John 8:44)
They had the temple.
They had the Scriptures.
But they rejected the Word made flesh standing in front of them.
And today?
That same spirit lives on.
In religious systems that deny Christ.
In global institutions using “Jewish identity” for political power.
In networks of influence that preserve heritage, but oppose the gospel.
⸻
This Isn’t About Race — It’s About Rule
The promise to Abraham was never just about bloodline — it was about faith.
“If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed…”
— Galatians 3:29
There are two Israels in Scripture:
One according to the flesh
One according to the promise
And it’s the second group — the remnant — that God honors.
Not all who are born Jewish serve God.
And not all who serve God are born Jewish.
This is why Paul says:
“He is not a Jew, which is one outwardly… but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly…”
— Romans 2:28–29
The synagogue of Satan isn’t about ethnicity.
It’s about counterfeit authority.
A false priesthood.
A hidden rebellion wearing robes of religion.
⸻
Why This Is Censored — and Why It Must Be Said
In some countries, quoting Revelation 2:9 will get you banned.
The verse is blacklisted, labeled antisemitic, silenced by law.
Why?
Because the enemy always hides in sacred things.
He wraps lies in holy words.
He hides behind chosen titles.
And he fears being exposed.
But truth doesn’t change because it’s unpopular.
Jesus called it out.
Paul explained it.
Revelation warned us.
And now the world is being reshaped by forces claiming divine right — but walking in deception.
If we don’t name the synagogue of Satan,
we’ll mistake it for the temple of God.
⸻
Final Warning
God is not done with Israel.
But He is also not fooled by impostors.
And when the Antichrist rises,
he will likely come in the name of peace,
with a claim of covenant heritage,
standing in the Temple as if he were God.
But Jesus said,
“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” (John 5:43)
The synagogue of Satan isn’t future.
It’s present.
And it’s preparing the world to receive a lie.
The synagogue of Satan wears many robes.
Some carry Torahs.
Some carry crosses.
But all reject the Lamb.
Sadly I've only become aware of this recently. And lately my son and I were discussing this, and I didn't have much to tell him.
I greatly appreciated your efforts here to help educate.
Very timely! Thank you and bless you!
Thank you, so much to absorb.
